The Next Event: Single Line Portraits!
Posted by Allison Mack | Filed under Blog, Community, Projects
Hey, everyone! Thank you all so very much for the awesome pictures! It’s so, so cool to be able to see you the way you see me! I feel like I have such a better idea of who you all are! It was also so much fun to see the different and creative ways everyone expressed themselves through this project! I loved experiencing each of your individual expressions! OK, so now this week’s project is a little more personal and creative! I would love to see each of you draw a self portrait using one continuous line! That’s right! The challenge is to never let your pen leave the page! A la Picasso! Have fun! Here is Kristin’s and Chad’s. You can go ahead and email it to the same spot you did last time: mackevents@allisonmack.com. Have Fun! Oh! and if you wanna see the awesome drawings that everyone else sent in just click on either Chad or Kristin’s drawing and scroll through…..mine is in there as well! Enjoy!

November 29th, 2007 at 12:53 pmHello Allison, Hopefully I will be able to send you a self portait of myself, but I can’t draw . I love to write, and sing. My grandfather was the artist in the family . He drew the Coopertone girl. My Aunt Bobbie told me he had a friend that worked for the company that produced the products, and they were trying to come up with a picture for their product. He was visiting my grandparents one day ,and saw the drawing on the table. The man asked about it . My grandfather told him. It was my Aunt Tonyell playing in the yard with her puppy. He liked the picture so much that he asked my grandfather if he could show it to his boss, and the next day he called asking if my grandfather would sell the picture to Coopertone, Well here is the funny thing . My grand father gave them the picture, but he made them promise that nothing would be changed . Oh his friend took the family out to eat . He scored alot of brownie point with his boss. PEACE& lOVE Alyson

November 29th, 2007 at 6:21 pmAllison,
This was a LOVELY idea! I tried it as soon as I read the blog, and after completing the challenge, I was faced with a problem; Although it looked somewhat like me… I am afraid I will never send it, seeing as how I am just absolutely grotesque! Thank you, though. It was fun until I finished and realized yet again how much I despise myself. But, thank you. As always, you are lovely, and I think it’s so wonderful giving us these challenges to participate in. You’re wonderful!Peace, Light, And SO Much Love,

December 3rd, 2007 at 9:18 pmHi Allison.
Good idea, It is possible to make a simple portrait or developed. Since I am not a painter I chose the simple model. Allison thank Chad and Kristin for sharing with us.
I realy liked your performance in the Blue episode. It was fabulous to see your facial expressions during your discussion with Erica. I look forward to the next episode Gemini.
I saw 10 days ago the movie “Enchanted”. It was wonderful. Amy Adam the greedy meteor freak of Smallville has become a charming princess.
I hope that you have done a nice trip to Albany, and I look forward to your comments and photos.Have a nice day.

December 5th, 2007 at 11:37 pmHa, mine would be totally easy to do all things considering. However I have been keeping myself busy helping my fiance’ design Michael Rosenbaum’s new unofficial message board. He will no longer have an official one and all of his fans are being displaced, so Chris and I will be creating and hosting the new site for free. In addition I have been working on some fun signatures for people who join the site. If you get bored I have them posted in a thread on a message board I belong to: http://oldschoolcatfights.com/board/index.php?topic=23538.msg25437#msg25437

December 5th, 2007 at 11:54 pmHi Allison!
I just want to drop you a little comment (I hope you read it!). I just want to express how much I admire you for your work as an actress and for putting up this blog. You are such a down to earth person and that is rare to see nowadays. I always liked your character Chloe on Smallville the best and it was funny because I was talking to a co worker about the show and she said that I reminded her of Chloe… I hadn’t thought about that.. then I watched your video blogs and it was weird cuz I totally relate to you. haha plus my name is Allison and I am 25 (actually our bdays are like a month and a half apart… I’m the older one. I can’t believe I’ll be 26 this coming year… EGADS) … It was just all kinda funny and coincidental.
Anywayz… keep up the blog because I enjoy reading it ^_^ Someday I’ll get my blog back up and I will definetly link to yours.
