About Allison

Now in the middle of her eighth season on The CW’s acclaimed drama “Smallville,” Allison Mack stars as Clark Kent’s (Tom Welling) best friend, Chloe Sullivan. Mack’s role continues to grow throughout the series as her character comes to terms with latent a super human power developed from being exposed to kryptonite the day Clark Kent arrived on Earth.

Mack also starred in Showtime’s critically acclaimed feature “My Horrible Year!” This story follows the intricate and turbulent life of a teenage girl as she turns sixteen. Mack, who brought years of training and experience to the project, proved to be the perfect fit for Eric Stoltz’s directorial debut. The story was written and directed by Eric Stoltz and also starred Karen Allen and Mimi Rogers.

Since beginning her career at age 4 in her first commercial for “German Chocolate,” Mack has continued to be a busy working actress with an impressive roster of television roles. She garnered much attention for her portrayal of a teenager who abuses and inflicts wounds to her wrist on The WB’s “Seventh Heaven.” In the fall of 2000, Allison starred in The WB’s “The Nightmare Room,” and “The Opposite Sex,” as well as a recurring role in “Evening Shade.” Allison also starred in Disney’s feature “Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves” and “Camp Nowhere.”

An avid fan of musical theatre, Allison’s talents extend beyond film and television. She received rave reviews for pulling double duty, both as a choreographer and performer in “Rent” and “Chicago.” As a result of those performances, Allison was offered the chance to make her directorial debut with Jer Bear Productions’ staging of “Hair.” Rave reviews from LA Weekly, Backstage West, The Tolucan Times and The Burbank Times all attest to Allison’s diversity in the entertainment field. Music and dance, as much as acting, remain a passion for Allison.

Hey Allison, Ever since the very first episode of “Smallville”, I immediately connected to your character Chloe. And I’m one of those people who yells at the screen when someone is trouble… So whenever Clark was being an idiot or jimmy was lying or you got in big trouble I’d be rootin’ for you. You are my favorite actress. I went back looking for stuff you’d been in before and ran across “Opposite Sex”. It seems like you get stuck with the idiot guy who doesn’t realize you love him your roles… And then I found your website… And you are just so much cooler than I originally thought you were… And I thought you Awesome! Dear Ms. Mack,

I don’t know if you read these or not, but if you do, I want to tell you that you do a great job on SMALLVILLE. It is my wife, Sandy and my favorite show. We have all the seasons on DVD. I am disabled from many injuries from my career in S.C. Law Enforcement. I have been shot, stabbed, had every bone broken and had my shoulders removed and 51 other operations. I am now basically bed-ridden and I watch Smallville on our HDTV in our bedroom. I watch every episode on CW and on HD Net.
I grew up on Superman and have always been a die hard fan. I grew raising Horses, singing in bands and drawing my own comics. When I first saw you and Lionel Luthor on the show, I thought they were screwing with the Superman legend and honestly didn’t like it. You turned me around. You do a wonderful job and I wish your character had been in the Superboy comics. Thank you for bringing your wonderful character to life. Keep up the great work and convince the writers that we need a season 9, 10, and so on. Hi Allison! Speaking of musical theater… we loved you in Shangri La Plaza. My twin sis and I are the same age as you, also musical theater geeks ^_^ we taped the pilot when it aired on CBS in 1990…. I think we watched it about 500 times (no, seriously) and still know all the words by heart. I just viewed some interviews you did for the Comic Con and I am very impressed. Not only are you great on Smallville, you are awesome to your fans thats what makes you so special.

What makes you such a good actress is your reactions with your face/ facial features. I hope you know what I mean by that.

Honestly I am inspired to be an actor ever since I came across smallville. The range of acting that this show brings to the table is incredible and between the whole clark hiding a secret and chloe being the most outspoken person holding back and not telling the world etc… I want to know where to start to be an actor I live in a small town called southaven, Ms and I would love to act in tv movies commercials it doesnt matter I want the experiance just dont know where to go just write to me with some suggestions please Godgvme@aol.com
