So I had no idea!

Last week I began my directing adventure and Holy Shit! I had no idea it would be this intense, fun, creative, and time consuming.
Half of the time, I am totally capable of understanding everything being said and the other half I am smiling and nodding, no idea what is happening, and a total screen-saver glazing my eyes.
But, wow, after 22 years of doing one thing, acting day in and day out, now to try on new side of the work, it feels so good doing something new. To put on a new hat, not only am I getting the opportunity to see how cool my old hat still is, but I am feeling all these different sides of my face, things I never knew existed.
I think this is one of the first experiences I have ever had sitting down working through a project for more than 1 hour at a time. It is incredible what comes when you peculate on an idea.
I am shocked by the effort creativity requires. I always liked to keep it very magical… thinking somehow you are simply struck with great ideas, like a lightening bolt. But, it’s because of this experience that I’m really seeing the need to stand in the rain with a key attached to a kite for at least a few days before you will feel the lightening bolt shoot through your hands.
I am so blessed and grateful for my life and this experience. I apologize again for the missing blogs, but damn, I am in my head making shit and it is awesome!

That’s right, someone was feeling crafty with collage and Photoshop! Thanks to my ridiculously large collection of magazines and Chad’s brilliant skills with a scanner and the computer genius of photoshop, I was able to create something that really feels like an expression of me and how I feel about my life right now!
And while I am on the topic of redecorating my site… I would love to hear some feedback from you all! What do you like? Not like? Is there something you want to see more of? Do you have any cool ideas for sub-sections or projects or shows or anything? If so throw em out there!
I am totally open to any and all cool ideas and if you have an article you wanna write or a podcast you wanna host and you think it would live happily in the home of Allisonmack.com, please pitch to me!
I want the site to begin to feel more like a community then an “Official Allison Mack Site.” So please! Jump in the water of making this cool!
