creative again
So I am preparing for the next film I am working on and I am so re-inspired about creating after my experience in Prague. It is amusing to me that 75% of my job entails memorization and I am constantly forgetting things that are super important in my life… like, why I do what I do, what I am going for, what are the elements in place when I am feeling the most progressive and successful.
But I suppose this is sort of the process of humanity. We evolve and grow and forget where we started, and then evolve and grow and forget. Then you hit the low points to remind you there is more to go, further to push.
So I suppose there is always a silver lining, and every time you start to feel like shit, just remind yourself of the lesson you learned last time. Pull of the “scene” of your life and push harder.
I love how it sounds like I am speaking as though I am an expert on this topic. I am really just coaching myself through this process. I’ll keep you all posted on the movie journey!
